After using Adobe lightroom for some time to make my image selection, I got tired of creating catalogs because it wasted time in my retouching workflow. I had to find another program that will let me shoot, download and start selecting images.  Then, I decide to go with Adobe bridge cs6 and It drastically reduced the time it took for me to open a raw file.

Instead of importing the raw files into a folder and creating a catalog, I was able to open the raw files directly from the folder–which opened the raw adjustment software immediately.

You can also do batch export and file remaining from Bridge
